Son Arun and daughter Asha. Pratap has a younger brother, Prem. Who also graduated with honors from the university and occasionally visits his older brother in the city. Prem lives in a village with his mother (Pratap's stepmother). A sister and her husband also moved in with them, who left her mother-in-law's house because she was forced to work.
